What We Do
Novel Medical was founded in 2011 by Mr. Chao Kuang Piu, a famous patriotic industrialist from Hong Kong, in cooperation with Tsinghua University. The Company is committed to becoming a professional medical diagnosis and radiation detection equipment, software and service provider worldwide.
Novel Medical has cooperated with Tsinghua University to establish "Tsinghua-Novel Medical Nuclear Medicine Imaging Joint Research Center". Relying on the world-class medical physics research of Tsinghua University, formed numbers of core technologies such as gamma detector, multi-pinhole collimator, double-layer crystal DOI-PET detector, etc. The company have successfully developed clinical SPECT and SPECT/CT, preclinical animal PET/SPECT/CT, and radiation intelligent monitoring system, etc. The series of products have been applied nationwide, providing strong support for the development of radiation detection and molecular imaging industry.
Since its establishment, Novel Medical has been awarded numbers of honors such as "National high-tech enterprise", "National intellectual property advantage enterprise", and undertake/participated in more than 30 major scientific research projects. it has more than 300 intellectual property rights, including 4 international invention patents.
